The Resonance

"MUSICAL RESONANCE" 

Music, resonance refers to the phenomenon in which a sound produced by a source creates vibrations on the same object, which acts as a resonator and is transferred to the hosting object that is vibrating. 

This other object receives, amplifies, and colors the original sound. 

This process occurs when the frequencies of the original sound coincide with the natural resonance frequencies of the object, leading to an increase in the amplitude of the vibrations and the production of harmonic sounds. Resonance is a fundamental concept that influences the timbre and intensity of sound in various musical instruments and acoustic environments, contributing to creating the distinctive and rich sound quality found in different musical performances.

Nella musica, la risonanza si riferisce al fenomeno in cui un suono prodotto da una sorgente crea vibrazioni sullo stesso oggetto, che funge da risonatore e trasferisce le vibrazioni all'oggetto ospitante che vibra. 

Questo secondo oggetto riceve, amplifica e colora il suono original.
