In the '90s, the recording industry—including his experience with High Tide—attempted to categorize his production as New Age.

However, that was a label of mere commercial convenience that never reflected the true essence of his research. Rimauri is not a precursor of a trend; he is a sound explorer who has always criticized the mystification and opportunism of 'off-the-shelf' spirituality.

Today, his art continues to be an introspective journey rooted in physical and philosophical resonance, free from dogmas and conventions. It is an invitation to stop worshiping and start perceiving, using sound as a bridge toward self-awareness.

History

During the Meditation of Gautama Buddha Siddhārtha, rained a lot and there was a flood from the lake near the “Awakening” tree. 

The Buddha deep in meditation did not notice and continued to meditate despite the danger. Muchalinda, the naga-king who lived near the lake, protected it by surrounding it with seven rings and sheltering it from the rain with his seven covers (here under the fossil found with 9 heads).

THE SMOGS Garage Band

The Languid Descent of Evening

The sun lazily descended upon the tranquil afternoon of 1970. Within a garage transformed into a temple of rock, the vibrant notes of a Teisco electric guitar filled the air. Teisco, or rather Rimauri, his musical alter ego, was its absolute master. His agile and precise fingers danced across the frets, crafting melodies that intertwined with the pulsating rhythms of the drums.

By his side, Mr. Dado, whose real name was Alessandro, gave life to a sonic counterpoint with his bass guitar. His bow glided delicately across the strings, creating a warm, enveloping sound that blended perfectly with Teisco's guitar.

Together, the two musicians formed a single soul, giving birth to a unique musical alchemy. They were The Smogs, an emerging band that, within the walls of that garage, was forging its own sound, a mix of rock, psychedelia, and experimentation.

The air was thick with passion and energy. The vibrations of the music propagated beyond the garage walls, attracting the attention of the occasional curious passerby. The two musicians, however, paid no attention. They were completely immersed in their art, and transported into a world of sounds and emotions.

That afternoon, in Teisco's The Smogs garage band, it was not just music that came to life. It was the dream of two young men who, with their passion and talent, wanted to leave an indelible mark on the music scene.

They were The Smogs, and their music was only beginning its journey.
